Job Description

A Staff Assistant (TS/SCI) position just opened up in Pasadena, CA at the JPL/NASA facility. In this role you will be responsible for providing office support which involves; distributing information; arranging travel, meetings, events and/or conferences; scheduling appointments. You must have a minimum of 3 years of related experience and be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance.

Pay Rate: $38/hour+ DOE
Duration: 12 months or longer
Work schedule: 5/40 First Shift We do offer PTO, holidays, 401k, medical, dental, and vision NOTE: MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE AT THE TIME OF HIRE Responsibilities: Provide Staff Assistant and Facilities support:
-Will be the primary Staff Assistant for two classified programs
-Manage class and unclass Outlook calendars and emails
-Schedule meetings
-Escort uncleared trades; obtaining and reporting on job status/completion; submit and monitor work orders (tickets to get work done in the building)
-Assist with the logistics involved in moving occupants including physical lifting of boxes and equipment, reviewing and destroying of documents
-Assist with ensuring the building meets all safety requirements; remedying when needed
-Participate in evacuation planning and drills
-Distribute physical mail
-Stock supplies
-Ensure areas are clean, organized and
-Assist with logistics for visitors, VIPs and onsite meetings
-Other duties as assigned Requirements:
-Active TS/SCI Clearance
-Excellent, succinct and professional verbal and written communications
-Ability to appropriately communicate at all levels from trades to VIPs
-Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
-Ability to stand for several hours at a time, visually monitoring trades work
