About the Role

As a Senior Structural Forensic Engineer, you will lead and execute complex forensic investigations to determine the root causes of structural failures, storm damage, and construction defects. This senior-level position combines hands-on fieldwork, technical report authorship, and mentorship of junior engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and perform on-site structural assessments of damaged or distressed buildings and structures.
  • Identify root causes of failures and prepare high-quality, defensible forensic reports.
  • Review, sign, and seal reports prepared by team members.
  • Serve as a technical expert in communications with clients, insurance professionals, and attorneys.
  • Provide mentorship and peer review to maintain technical rigor across the team.

What You Bring

Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred.

Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida ; NCEES Record and multi-state licensure a plus.

Experience: Minimum 5–10 years in structural or forensic engineering, with proven experience leading investigations and authoring expert-level reports.

Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, analytical mindset, and attention to technical detail.

Mindset: Self-driven, dependable, and committed to accuracy, professionalism, and client service excellence.

Mobility: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record.

💰 Base Salary: $140K–$170K (commensurate with experience)
