What You’ll Do

As a core art expert within AviaGames’ Art & Creative Center, you’ll play a key role in shaping the visual direction of new game prototypes and establishing the foundational art style for early-stage projects. You will also support the continuous evolution of the art quality in existing titles.

You will:

• Work closely with the Art Director to define and develop the visual style for new game prototypes, including characters, environments, UI, and overall artistic tone.
• Create high-level concept art and visual references that set the aesthetic standard and direction for internal and external artists to follow.
• Lead the visual exploration of new game ideas, rapidly iterating on styles that align with product goals and player preferences.
• Guide and review art assets to ensure consistency, polish, and alignment with the defined visual identity, particularly in Western casual art styles.
• Collaborate closely with design and production teams to ensure art direction integrates well with gameplay and user experience.

What You Bring

• Strong portfolio showcasing concept work with unique style, visual polish, and storytelling ability.
• Demonstrated experience in owning and defining visual style for mobile, casual, or stylized games.
• Deep understanding of Western art styles and player preferences (US/Europe).
• Excellent aesthetic judgment in both gameplay art and marketing/brand visuals.
• Comfortable collaborating with Art Directors, Designers, and Marketing on fast-paced teams.
• Ability to self-direct, bring new ideas to the table, and elevate others’ work. Bonus if you have:
• Experience in branding or marketing art pipelines.
• Background in 2D animation, motion graphics, or stylized 3D production.
