We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and improving our production processes, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Production Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising and coordinating all production and operational processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
2. Developing and implementing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of services.
3. Monitoring production outputs, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing effective solutions.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Logistics) to optimize operational efficiency.
5. Implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and capacity.
6. Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
7. Conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and coaching team members to foster their professional growth.
8. Managing resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization.
9. Troubleshooting operational and production issues, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Production Supervisor position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in operations management, with a strong understanding of production planning and quality control principles.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a team.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
7. Proficient in using MS Office Suite and production management software.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations within the engineering industry.
10. Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar qualification would be an added advantage.
