Forklift Driver| Greensboro| HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Compensation:

• Minimum rate of $17.41 an hour

• Shift differential for night shift

Available Shifts:

Day Shift: 7AM - 7PMon a 2-2-3 Schedule

Night Shift: 7PM- 7AM on a 2-2-3 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Operate all warehouse equipment required to transfer finished goods and other products tothe appropriate areas. All warehouse equipment includes, but is not limited to, forklift, andclamp truck.

• Load and unload trucks efficiently following department standards.

• Moving and transferring materials and finished goods in a high-volume productionenvironment.

• Support WMS functions related to inventory and load management (IE. Pick list, PGI).

• Check the accuracy of the finished product count, product ID, order destination, and carrierID before loading any vehicle and accurately complete all required paperwork

• All transfer of products and materials must be performed with a high degree of accuracyand accountability and follow the established standard processes and procedures.

• Must adhere to all safety standards, Standard Work Instruction Sheet (SWIS), and companypolicies.

• Maintain work area in an organized, safe, and clean manner

• All duties are performed with a focus on safety.

• Know the locations of and how to operate emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishers.

• Complete the forklift checklist which includes daily inspection of forklifts.

• Ability to change the forklift propane tank required.

Qualifications

Natural Team Leader, will support the Team Leaders in accomplishing the overall team’s mission and lead natural work teams in day to day operations. Responsibilities also include leading teams in the areas of productivity, safety, and quality and team effectiveness. The responsibilities will be in addition to existing job responsibilities. The Natural Team Leader will be required to fill in/cover for the Dispatch/Team Leader during absences, vacations, and other periods of leave. This position will also be required to work overtime.

• Minimum of one year recent forklift experience preferred

• Minimum of one year sit-down experience required

• Must be able to work 12 hour shift

• Must obtain and maintain valid Pactiv Forklift and Safety Certifications during employment.

• Must have proven experience working in a fast paced Warehouse/Logistics environment

• Prior use of RF barcode reader and vehicle mounted (VMU) computer systems preferred

• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

• Push-pull attachment operation a plus

• Basic knowledge of mathematics

• Ability to communicate orally and in writing (English required)

• Must be self-directed and have the ability to work with little supervision

• Will be required to be certified in Lockout/Tag Out and Forklift Operation upon assignment

Physical Requirements:

• Will be exposed to hot temperatures during the summer months and cold temperatures

during the winter months.

• There may be some exposure to dust inside the warehouse.

• Exposure to machine noise is possible. Ear protection is provided but not required.

• Ability to maintain single task focus and situational awareness.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

• Frequent: Sitting, kneeling/crawling/bending: stair climbing, carrying: 0-40 lbs. for 5-10

feet, out-reaching, standing, walking

• Occasional: Stoop/Squat, Ladder/Steps Climbing, Bend/Twist

• Repetitive Use of wrist, hands, fingers, shoulder, elbow, hip, ankles, head, neck
