Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time, itinerant position serves K-12 students across multiple campuses, providing specialized instruction to support the educational needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing learners. The role requires in-person teaching with a start date of August 7, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across K-12 grade levels.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs and state standards.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure prehensive student support.
  • Provide hearing assessments, speech therapy support, and auditory training as needed.
  • Travel between campuses to maintain consistent student engagement and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
  • Experience working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in K-12 settings.
  • Strong munication skills, including proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
  • Flexibility and reliability in traveling between campuses.
