About us:

Are you a motivated individual looking to gain valuable clinical experience in a dynamic dermatology office? We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Medical Assistants. As a Medical Assistant at our dermatology office, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, providing support in patient care and assisting with various dermatological procedures including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting dermatologist and physician assistant in patient examinations and procedures.
• Taking and recording medical histories and patient information.
• Preparing examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining proper medical supplies.
• Assisting with minor surgical procedures and wound care under the guidance of dermatologist.
• Administering medications and treatments.
• Performing basic laboratory tests and handling specimens.
• Providing patient education and instructions on skincare regimens.
• Assisting with patient scheduling, record-keeping, and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with medical protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in dermatology and a desire to pursue a career in the medical field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a medical setting or as a Medical Assistant is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.

Work Schedule: We offer flexible hours to accommodate your academic commitments, however preference will be given to candidates with full time availability.
