Field Technical Support – Video Conferencing

Akkodis is seeking a Technician to support our Fortune 500 client's video conferencing environment, including Poly, Teams, and Zoom. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideal for someone with strong AV support experience and a high level of professionalism.

Rate: $28-$37/hr. on W2 The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Location: Onsite in Plano, TX (Must be local- no relocation)

Contract Length: 1.5+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite Level 1 technical support and user training
• Support and troubleshoot Poly, Logitech, Neat, Cisco, and other conferencing equipment
• Assist with scheduling and launching video calls
• Manage incident tickets and perform MACD (move, add, change, delete) requests
• Support executive meetings, town halls, and large-scale events
• Maintain documentation for processes and the video environment

Must Have Qualifications:

• 2+ years of AV/video conferencing experience
• Familiarity with video protocols (H.320, H.323) and SIP
• Experience with Microsoft Teams conferencing
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced setting
