Warehouse Manager

Concord, NC

Carolina’s Hometown Respiratory is currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Manager for our Concord, North Carolina location. In this role, you will direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in purchasing and distributing materials and equipment.

• Pay: $42,000 – $50,000/year, offer dependent on experience

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8 AM – 5 PM

The right candidate will have:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1 – 3 months related experience and/or training
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

Our Warehouse Manager will:

• Plan, organize, direct, and control activities related to the procurement function including the work of warehouse personnel engaged in receiving, issuing, and delivering supplies and equipment
• Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct
• Prepares and reviews contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications
• Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures
• Assigns procurement requests to the appropriate personnel
