A Canadian Importer and Distributor is seeking a warehouse manager. This well-established business supplies a niche industry with products of the highest quality and durability. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized and enthusiastic individual to be hands on in the distribution of product to our customers and showrooms.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the key person in receiving and shipping of inventory as well as organization of the warehouse. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage inventory efficiently, and coordination with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

This position requires a flexible and understanding personality to accommodate the various priorities of the day. These tasks, along with the required education and skills, are described below.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Unload and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantity and condition of shipments.
• Ensure all items received are properly and safely stored in correct locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements
• Coordinate shipping with carriers and prepare necessary documentation
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory audits
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Education and Experience

• Prior experience managing small warehouse
• Basic knowledge of relevant software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Forklift experience and license
• Inventory management experience
