???? Pay Range: $18.00–$21.00/hour

What You Bring to the Table

• 1+ years of veterinary assistant experience (must-have)
• Skilled in canine/feline restraint, radiographs, blood draws, in-house lab testing, vaccines, and medication administration
• Confident monitoring patients under sedation and anesthesia.
• Strong client communication skills
• Experience with veterinary software (Avimark a plus!)
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Your Role in the Pack

• Assist doctors with exams, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
• Perform blood draws, administer vaccines/medications, and run lab tests
• Monitor patients safely under sedation and maintain accurate records
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
• Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment organized and ready for action

Shirlington Animal Hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 2:00pm.

We are closed on Sunday. We do not provide any boarding or grooming.
