As a UX Writing Intern at Xometry, you'll work on real-world projects to craft clear, concise, and user-friendly content, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and learn how to shape product experiences through words in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Write and edit microcopy for user interfaces, including buttons, tooltips, error messages, and onboarding flows.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and researchers to create content that aligns with user needs and business goals.
- Conduct content audits to ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence to Xometry's brand voice and style guide.
- Support usability testing and analyze how content impacts the user experience.
- Learn and apply best practices in UX writing to create experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and engaging.

What We're Looking For:
- Academic Excellence: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2025 or May 2026, with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period (June 9 - August 15, 2025).
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A passion for problem-solving and a desire to drive results.
- Legal Authorization: Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States.
- Location Requirement: Ability to commute to our North Bethesda, MD or Lexington, KY office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week.
