Role : UX Researcher

Location: Position is mostly remote but requires willingness to travel occasionally to local office in Eden Prairie, MN and sometimes throughout the US to meet with clients

Contract: 4 months

Start: ASAP

Rate : $54.24-$59.40/hour W2 depending on experience

Overview

We are looking for a UX Researcher contractor to uncover user insights that will inform the design and development of our hospitality technology product. You will lead qualitative and quantitative research efforts to understand user behaviors, pain points, and needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Plan, conduct, and analyze user research activities including interviews, usability tests, surveys, and field studies.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate research insights into actionable recommendations.
• Analyze user behavior and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
• Develop personas, journey maps, usability reports, and other user-centered artifacts to guide design decisions.
• Present findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in UX research.

Required Experience

• Experience in user-centered design
• 3-5 years’ experience in UX research for digital products
• Proficiency with research tools and methodologies
• Strong analytical, communication, storytelling, data synthesis, and presentation skills
• Experience working in agile environments
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Experience

• UI/UX design preferred
• Hospitality industry experience
