Treasury Assistant Location: Herndon, VA - Position will be hybrid. Tuesdays & Thursdays working in-office.
Responsibilities: • Treasury Assistant will be helping cash team make payments, going into the bank portal, and making the payments (different countries have different amounts and #s of transactions, batch weekly)
• Treasury Assistant will be managing banking related responsibilities
• Treasury Assistant will complete daily reconciliations of the payments
• Treasury Assistant will be responsible for data gathering coordination with AP, GL, and debt recovery team.
• Treasury Assistant will assist Principal Treasury Manager opening bank accounts via the legal team - so essentially doing the follow ups of the paperwork that the bank needs.
• Treasury Assistant will answer questions from the AP team
• Treasury Assistant will complete ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested
Requirements: • 1-3+ years accounting or finance experience
• Should be familiar with cross currencies. International banking experience is a plus.
• Previous experience using bank portals is a plus
• Must be familiar with MS Office
• Excel - VLOOKUP'S required. Will be putting in equations and formatting currencies and date formats. Ability to create a pivot table is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required if a candidate has the relevant previous work experience
• Previous NetSuite experience is a plus but NOT required
