Job Description We are seeking a talented and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team at MDG. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to enhance the organic search visibility of our clients' websites. The SEO Specialist will collaborate with internal teams to implement on-page optimization, technical audits, content strategies, and link-building campaigns. You will be integral to driving relevant traffic, improving search rankings, and increasing brand visibility for our clients. MDG follows a hybrid work model of Monday/Friday remote and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in our Boca Raton office. Our scheduled work hours are 9a-6p. Key Responsibilities: On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and body copy, to enhance user experience and improve search engine ranking. Technical SEO Audit: Identify and address technical SEO issues that may affect search engine crawling and indexing, such as broken links, site speed, and structural problems. Content Strategy Development: Create and execute data-driven content strategies, landing pages, and other website content, to boost organic traffic and engagement. Link Building: Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to increase the number of high-quality backlinks to client websites, improving domain authority and search performance. Paid Search Management knowledge is strongly preferred as there may be some Google ads campaign set up and management. Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor SEO strategies and tactics to identify new opportunities for improving client website rankings. Reporting and Analysis: Track key SEO performance metrics, such as traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates, providing clients with clear insights and recommendations. Client Communication: Collaborate with account managers to communicate SEO strategies, progress, and results to clients, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives. Requirements Strong understanding of SEO principles, best practices, and algorithm updates. Ability to audit and edit website code (HTML, CSS, and other web technologies) for SEO improvements. Proficiency in SEO tools and platforms, such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Google Analytics. Experience with content management systems like WordPress. Knowledge of Core Web Vitals (page speed optimization and page speed insights) Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex SEO concepts clearly to clients. A deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape and emerging SEO trends. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an agency environment is a plus. Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or SEO-related programs is a plus. Experience in content writing and editing, with a focus on SEO-driven content.
