Job Description

The main objective of the Tailor is to fit, alter, and repair clothing to the customer's specifications.

Required skills and tasks:

• Must be able to operate an industrial sewing machine
• Fit, alter, and repair clothing to customer's specifications
• Let out or take in seams in garments to improve fit using industrial sewing machines
• Make garment style changes
• Tapering of pant legs
• Measure parts such as sleeves or pant legs
• Mark or pin-fold alterations line
• Ability to multi-task and communicate in a professional and pleasant demeanor

Expected hours: 18 – 22 per week

• Weekly Hours will vary depending on the season, and to cover other tailor’s PTO

Experience:

• Sewing machines: 3 year (Required)
