General Manager Job Description Position: Restaurant General Manager Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have demonstrated leadership experience in the restaurant or retail environment, including actively leading, managing, and developing team members to achieve results and ensuring strong operational execution. Minimum 50-hour work week required and availability to work morning, mid, closing and weekend shifts Experience & Education: Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility. College or university degree preferred but relevant experience will be considered. Proven track record in managing daily operations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth. Experience in recruiting, training, and developing staff to create high-performing teams. Strong knowledge of OSHA, local health, and safety codes. Skills: Exceptional team-building capability with a focus on staff development and motivation. Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities. Basic business math and accounting skills, with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities. Basic personal computer literacy, including familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
