Job Description: The Social Services Supervisor is responsible for providing the Social Services Clinicians with leadership and guidance in daily tasks, mitigating operational problems and escalating patient care concerns to the Director of Therapeutic Services as needed. The Social Services Supervisor will work in collaboration and oversee Social Service Clinicians and partner with nursing leadership, medical staff and administration to elevate safety, quality and clinical effectiveness. The Social Services Supervisor performs and trains Social Services Clinicians and advances evidence-based treatment models in the Acute Care Psychiatric Hospital. The Social Services Supervisor conducts and reviews the quality of patient care provided by Social Services Clinicians, including but not limited to: psychosocial assessment; individual, family, and group treatment; safety planning meetings. The Social Services Supervisor provides Board of Behavioral Sciences clinical supervision hours to Associate Clinical Social Workers. This position reports to the Director of Therapeutic Services.Education: Master's Degree - Social Work - Required Experience: 3 years Behavioral Health - Inpatient or Residential Treatment - Required 2 years Leadership Role in Clinical Setting - Required Additional Experience Requirements: ​California Board of Behavioral Sciences approved 15-hour clinical supervision course for Associate Clinical Social Workers - Required within 90 days of hire Certifications/Licensures: LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker - California Board of Behavioral Sciences - Required BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training- Required within 30-days of hire and renewal annually or within 30-days of return from a leave of absence. Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology through experience or completion of a course - Preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point) - Preferred Work Shift: Exempt Days (Mon-Fri) (United States of America)Pay Range: $59.34 - $89.01HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
