Sr. Staff Accountant
Duluth, GA- Onsite (there are no options for remote or hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the general ledger structure 
2. Month end close and daily/monthly posting of journal entries 
3. Determine required accruals 
4. Provide detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts 
5. Daily and monthly cash reconciliations 
6. Support payroll function when needed. 
7. Responsible for fixed asset tracking and inventory analysis 
8. Review AP and AR transactions for accuracy 
9. Help prepare reporting packages, reports and other analysis as requested 
10. Analyze financial results and compare to budget and prior periods 
11. Performs other duties as required 

Key Skills:

1. Values personal integrity and maintains high ethical standards 
2. BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in accounting 
3. Ability for occasional travel to support projects at branch locations 
4. Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles 
5. Four to six years prior experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area 
6. Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. 
7. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
8. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required. 
9. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
