Solar Panel Installers – On-Site Staffing Services
Location: Waukesha, WI (servicing surrounding cities and parts of Illinois)
Pay: $20 – $32/hr. (based on experience)
On-Site Staffing Services is seeking 2 Solar Panel Installers to join our team. This role offers steady work in Waukesha, WI, and surrounding areas, including: Big Bend, Brookfield, Chenequa, Delafield, Dousman, Eagle, Elm Grove, Genesee Depot, Hartland, Lannon, Menomonee Falls, Merton, Mukwonago, Muskego, Nashotah, New Berlin, North Lake, North Prairie, Oconomowoc Lake, Okauchee, Pewaukee, Sussex, Wales, and Illinois.
Schedule
Monday – Friday (Saturday optional)
2–4 days per week (set or flexible schedule available)
Start times between 7 and 9 AM, depending on workload
8–12 hours per day, including paid drive time
Not a traditional 9–5 schedule
Essential Duties
Follow layout plans to mount racking, modules, and electrical equipment
Assist the crew in completing solar system installations
Document quality completion of work
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards (Company provides OSHA 10-hour training)
Key Requirements
Prior construction experience preferred (but not required)
Comfortable with heights, small spaces, ladders, and working outdoors
Able to lift and carry 35+ pounds consistently
Reliable transportation to Waukesha (company vehicles provided for job sites)
Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR (past 2 years – no speeding, DUI, or accidents)
Willingness to learn and train if motivated and experienced with power tools
Strong communication skills
