POSITION SUMMARY: As a Social Service Clinician you will provide grief therapy services to our patients who are receiving psychiatric services in an acute care setting. You will be responsible for conducting two groups, one per unit on a weekend day, and completing progress notes. You will need to maintain a safe and efficient working/ treatment environment promoting implementation of therapeutic milieu and daily program schedule. You will need to have the ability to communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure safe, quality care to be essential to success!
EDUCATION: Can consider MSW (Master of Social Work)
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Clinical licensure not required. Licensure, as determined by the State, required to complete the essential job functions of the position required. CPI/CPR per policy.
EXPERIENCE: (preferred)
Two years of experience working with clinical multidisciplinary teams.
Two years of social service experience with at least one-year experience working with behavioral health populations in an acute care setting.
Two years of grief counseling experience.
Clinical training in evidenced-based treatment modalities including individual, group and family interventions.
