Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Social Media Summer Intern to join our Strategy and Communications department. This position is a full-time, 40 hours per week, internship opportunity based out of our regional office located in Washington D.C. with a hybrid work model. This internship position requires the intern to be onsite every Tuesday at our Capitol Hill regional office. Please note, this position is ineligible for benefits. Reporting to a Senior Communications Consultant , the Social Media Summer Intern will collaborate with experienced communications professionals, physician subject matter experts, and spokespeople to create engaging content for social media, external websites, and public relations initiatives. You will support the social media strategy and content development across all MAPMG social media platforms. This internship offers the opportunity to develop skills in content creation, social media management, and healthcare communications while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00, which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
