Job Description

Our client is seeking a passionate and versatile Social Media Marketing Manager to join our cannabis-focused team near Olympia, WA. The ideal candidate is a creative multitasker who can handle various aspects of digital marketing and content creation.

**This is a fully in person role in the Olympia, WA area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter
• Create engaging content, including photos, videos, and graphics for social media and website
• Manage content calendars and schedule posts to optimize engagement
• Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with team members on marketing campaigns and brand initiatives
• Analyze social media metrics and provide actionable insights
• Manage community engagement and respond to comments/messages
• Assist with website design and content updates
• Coordinate with influencers and manage partnerships

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the cannabis industry
• Proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
• Basic web design and content management skills
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of cannabis culture and industry trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
• Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability
• Understanding of social media compliance in the cannabis industry

Compensation: $60,000-70,000 on a base
