Senior-level and/or Mid-level Firmware Engineers
RDI Technology Partners is an engineering and technology search firm. We are conducting a high-priority search for two (2 positions) Senior-level and/or Mid-level Firmware Engineers for our extremely successful client in San Diego. These are high impact, permanent partially hybrid positions (no contractors please) on our client's commercial product development team.
You will develop new/future embedded firmware products and actively participate in architectural and design discussions. You will also partner with some of the brightest and most innovative engineers in the industry, pushing the limits of technology, while producing a "real" commercial product. Very exciting!
Solid experience with C++ along with either “RTOS firmware” OR “Embedded Linux” development is needed (one of the two). Some light Xilinx FPGA (Verilog) programming experience or interfacing with Xilinx FPGAs will be extremely helpful. Experience developing device drivers for I2C, SPI, USB or LVDS is important. B.S.E.E. or B.S. in Computer Engineering/Computer Science is also required. Any experience with image processing or machine vision or the Xilinx Zynq platform/tool set would be a MASSIVE plus!
The position is onsite in San Diego, with some hybrid flexibility based on the day-to-day engineering aspects of the role. You must live in San Diego metro now or be open to self-relocating to San Diego quickly.
