As we continue to experience rapid growth and an influx of new users, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to ensure our infrastructure remains scalable, secure, and high-performing as we continue to expand.

Role Overview:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will take the lead in designing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it can support millions of users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish DevOps best practices, build reliable systems, and improve deployment pipelines. This is a critical role where you will directly impact the scalability, reliability, and security of our platforms while mentoring others and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Optimization: Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure to support the growing number of users on our platform.
• Automation & CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient software development and deployment processes.
• Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify issues and maintain high performance and uptime.
• Best Practices Implementation: Establish and enforce best practices across the organization for system architecture, deployment strategies, and security protocols.
• Cloud Management: Manage cloud resources (AWS preferred) to optimize cost, performance, and security.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with engineering teams to provide guidance on DevOps processes, tooling, and infrastructure design, helping to elevate their ability to deploy and maintain applications efficiently.
• Scalability & Load Handling: Ensure systems can handle high traffic loads and work towards optimizing the platform for expected growth and seasonal spikes in user activity.

Must Have Skills:

• AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
• TypeScript
• All IaC is written in TypeScript using CDK .
• Please do not apply if your only IaC experience is with Terraform and Ansible.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience: 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related roles, with a proven track record of supporting high traffic, real-time web applications.
• Cloud and Infrastructure: Expertise in AWS (or equivalent platforms), containerization (Docker, ECS), Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK) and TypeScript.
• CI/CD Expertise: Experience with AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, and other CI/CD tools to enable seamless deployment processes.
• Performance Optimization: In-depth knowledge of AWS Infrastructure, PHP/Laravel, Postgres, Redis, and Nginx, with proven skills in diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues.
• Monitoring Tools: Proficiency with monitoring and logging solutions such as CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK Stack, Prometheus, or New Relic.
• Security Best Practices: Strong grasp of DevSecOps best practices with experience implementing compliance and security controls in a cloud environment. 
• Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with software engineers and cross-functional teams, providing mentorship and technical guidance as needed.

• Background in the iGaming or social gaming industry.
