Senior Civil Engineer - Aviation Sector - Hybrid

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Chicago, focusing on aviation-related projects. This role offers the opportunity to engage with major airports such as JFK, Chicago O'Hare, and Atlanta, contributing to high-profile infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design site civil works, including drainage systems and underground utilities.
• Develop effective plans for roads, streets, runways, and taxiways.
• Coordinate with outside utility agencies during design and construction
• Provide support during construction phase with design changes, responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings
• Support the Project Manager as directed
• Coordinate completion of quality control reviews of reports, plans, specifications, and other deliverables.

Preffered Skills:

• AutoCAD Civil 3D: Proficient use of AutoCAD Civil 3D for designing complex civil engineering projects.
• XP SWMM/EPA SWMM: Skilled in using these hydrology/hydraulic software for stormwater management and environmental simulations.
• ProjectWise: Experience in using ProjectWise for project information management and collaboration across distributed teams.
• BIM 360/ACC: Competent in using BIM tools for project lifecycle management from planning to execution.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must hold a PE (Professional Engineer) license.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering is required.
