Airport Security Officer – Kahului, HI You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule Wed: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Thu: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Requirements Valid Driver's License Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring Security Experience: 1+ years 21+ years of age Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements) NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property What You’ll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed, supporting a welcoming environment. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required, following established protocols. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management. Must be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
