Job Description

As a Security Officer - Medical Facility Patrol Driver in Kailua, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activities, or unsafe conditions, to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as required.
• Support hospital staff during emergency situations or drills by following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Provide directions and general information to visitors and employees to enhance their experience at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
