Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Kaneohe, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and exceptional customer service will contribute to a positive experience. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.
  • Document security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific protocols.
  • Assist with wayfinding and provide information or directions to patients, visitors, and staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
