As a Security Officer - Dispatch Desk in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, assist with incident response, and help to deter security-related issues. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Monitor and manage communications for the location, coordinating with on-site personnel as needed.
Dispatch security-related personnel to various areas of the location based on incident reports or requests.
Maintain detailed logs and records of all incidents, communications, and activities during the shift.
Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
Support Allied Universal and client policies while maintaining a visible presence at the dispatch post.
Conduct regular checks of security-related systems and/or technology to help to deter and identify issues.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
