Job Description As a Airport Dispatch Officer , you will serve and safeguard clients in Airport Security. Pay Rate: $21.74 per hour with an hourly bonus of $4.69. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Location: Kahului, Hawai'i Schedule: Full Time — Morning (05:30–14:00), Afternoon (13:30–22:00), Overnight (21:30–06:00) Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring Security experience: 1+ years Must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Morning or Afternoon/Evening Shifts) Note: First two months in this position will involve working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property Allied Universal is hiring a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator . The SOC Operator is staffed twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. The position monitors all security, communications and fire/life safety systems and serves as the liaison between all security departments. The SOC Operator is responsible for accurate documentation of routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities and maintains control of all equipment and keys in the Control Room. This position is responsible for completing task work orders for all maintenance needs reported. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor all security, communications, and fire/life safety systems within the designated region via the provided monitoring systems Proactively monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV programs; monitor and respond to alarms Answer and respond to events over regular and emergency phones and intercoms; speak clearly, give direction, and provide guidance during emergencies Serve as the liaison between all departments and the security department Handle complaints and unusual/critical event information with Shift Supervisor, Account Manager, and Security Director Accurately document routine and unusual events using shift reports, logs, or other established methods Maintain control of all equipment and keys in the Control Room; log equipment and keys signed out and returned Complete task work orders for reported maintenance needs Inform the Shift Supervisor/Account Manager of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or systems Control and monitor two-way communication systems Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders Provide productivity and cost-reduction recommendations to management Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders Qualifications Basic qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws Must possess one or more of the following: service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement/security; graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy; bachelor’s degree in protective services or related field; active military service; associate’s degree in criminal justice with military service; 2 years of public sector dispatch or emergency operations center experience; 2 years of verifiable data center security experience; 3 years of verifiable private/corporate security experience Knowledge and Skills Required: Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications Ability to work in a team environment Ability to multi-task and discern patterns in detail Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
