Emerald is hiring a Search Engine Optimization Specialist (SEO) responsible for implementing strategies to improve our Event rankings on search engines like Google and Bing. By understanding traffic data, and providing insights to our brand leaders, this role will ultimately drive lead generation through search engine results.

This role can be performed remotely, but must be in a commutable distance to our Alpharetta, GA office.

Description

• The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will be responsible for recommendations for optimizing website content, conducting keyword research, and analyzing SEO performance to improve search engine rankings.
• Analyze and report on website performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics
• Build and manage a backlink strategy to increase domain authority and search rankings.
• Monitor and track organic performance KPIs, providing insights and actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Work cross-functionally with our digital team and marketing to align SEO efforts with overall company goals.
• Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO techniques to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SEO tools:
  • Google Analytics (Required)
  • Google Search Console (Required)
  • Intermediate Excel experience (Required)
  • Experience using Parse.ly (plus)
  • Experience using BrightEdge (Plus)
• Experience in on-page and off-page SEO optimization techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
