Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Ann Arbor Public Schools
\n Pay Rate: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
\n Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 hours per day
\n Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Overview:
\nAnn Arbor Public Schools is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to support students in the classroom and throughout the school day. This is a light-duty, school-based position focused on supervision, guidance, and care support—not medical procedures.
Responsibilities:
\n\nMonitor and assist students during classroom activities and transitions
\n\tProvide gentle reminders for restroom breaks (students are fully mobile)
\n\tSupport lunch and bus transitions (helping students get on/off buses and find classrooms)
\n\tOccasionally provide 1:1 support as needed
\n\tAssist in the health office with basic tasks such as distributing medications under staff direction
\n\tParticipate in on-site training provided by the district
\n\tQualifications:
\n\nActive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
\n\tExperience working with children preferred
\n\tReliable, caring, and team-oriented
\n\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills
