Titan is seeking to grow its perception team in the industrial mobile robotics space. The ideal candidate will have graduate level research and/or industry experience in sensing and algorithms related to safely and efficiently localizing and navigating mobile robots in an industrial setting.

The Robotics Engineer II will be responsible for utilizing good engineering practices in designing, implementing, testing, and documenting algorithms that allow mobile robotic systems to operate and coordinate in their environment. These tasks will consist of both classical techniques and machine learning. The Robotics Engineer II will further be responsible for evaluating and integrating sensors to enable robot perception.

This role will also be responsible for deploying safe and effective code to laboratory, prototype, and production systems, as well as creation of software tools to support debugging, testing, and analysis.

Responsibilities:

· Research, develop, and implement computer vision algorithms to enable mobile robot perception.

· Leverage sensors for solving robotics problems, including evaluation, selection, and integration in simulation and real-world systems.

· Participate in team software development lifecycle (unit and integration testing, code reviews, software documentation, etc.).

Requirements and Qualifications:

· Master of Science or equivalent work experience.

· Expertise with C++

· Expertise with Computer Vision

· Understanding of Mobile Robotics

· Understanding of Projective Geometry, SLAM, NeRFs, and SfM, etc.

· Familiarity with Ubuntu Linux

· Familiarity with Git and GitLab

· Experience with multithreaded code

· Experience with CUDA or equivalent GPU programming

Preferred Qualifications:

· Proficiency using Jira to track and manage tasks

· Proficiency using Microsoft Office

· Experience developing for deployed systems in an industrial environment

· Knowledge of Qt user interface design

· Knowledge of OpenGL
