We are seeking an experienced Moving & Storage Logistics Salesperson to join our team. This role focuses on leveraging your extensive network and experience in securing state and federal contracts within the moving and storage logistics industry. You will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, prospecting, and successfully closing high-value contracts, including government and institutional contracts.

As a key player in our sales team, you will have the opportunity to work remotely with flexible hours while also participating in occasional check-ins at the office for strategic alignment and team collaboration. This role is commission-only, with negotiable earning potential based on sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Secure Contracts : Research, identify, and target state and federal government contracts, as well as commercial opportunities in the moving and storage sector.
  • Client Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, businesses, and key decision-makers to establish long-term partnerships.
  • Bid & Proposal Development : Lead the process of preparing and submitting RFPs (Request for Proposals) for state and federal contracts, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements and deadlines.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement a tailored sales strategy to effectively approach and secure contracts, ensuring the successful execution of all sales activities.
  • Negotiation & Closing : Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts, driving sales to closure while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Market Analysis : Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and changes to ensure a competitive edge in securing new business.
  • Reporting : Regularly update management on sales progress, pipeline, and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in moving and storage logistics sales, with a proven track record in securing state and federal contracts.
  • Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of the moving, storage, and logistics industry, including key regulations and compliance issues related to government contracts.
  • Sales Acumen : Demonstrated success in high-level sales and contract negotiations, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Networking : Strong network within the government contracting space and a solid reputation for delivering results in securing high-value deals.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and pitch proposals effectively.
  • Self-Motivated : Ability to work independently, manage your schedule, and drive sales performance remotely.
  • Tech-Savvy : Familiarity with CRM software, email platforms, and other tools to manage sales activity and client communications.

  • Commission-Based : Pay structure is commission-only, with negotiable rates based on sales performance.
