Scheduled Hours 36 Job Order Details Start Date 03/24/2025 End Date 06/23/2025 Duration 13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Cardiac Step Down Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour Day/Night Rotating (07:00 - 19:30 / 19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg experience required License: Must have valid compact or state license Certifications: BCLS and ACLS required Must-Have:

Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation
Experience with EPIC

Job Description:

Provide high-quality care for patients in a lower acuity cardiac unit
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Willingness to float to units of similar or lower acuity as needed
Maintain patient ratio of 1:3-4
Participate in a rotating schedule including weekdays, some weekends, and holidays
Complete orientation within 24 hours
Participation in Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
Two professional references required; at least one must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity, such as a supervisor or a Charge RN
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
