Salary : $110K - $120K

Sterling Engineering is looking for a Quality Manager in Crystal Lake, IL for a with a leading manufacturer that specializes in high volume production machining. This is a great opportunity to work with a company that has great benefits!

Job Duties :

• Serve as the Management Representative for the IATF-16949 quality management system
• Lead quality initiatives and ensure compliance with customer requirements
• Implement defect reduction strategies and oversee nonconforming materials
• Supervise final inspections for efficient and accurate product flow
• Manage and train department personnel to optimize performance
• Investigate and resolve customer quality complaints, implementing corrective actions
• Participate in APQP meetings to address potential processing issues proactively
• Maintain calibration system accuracy and oversee PPAP submissions

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing technology (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in quality management
• ASQ certification and IATF 16949 training preferred
• Strong communication skills with a team-oriented approach
