Responsibilities:

• Perform physical property testing on incoming raw materials to ensure that they meet appropriate standards of quality.

\n

• Perform physical property testing on production batch samples to ensure that customers receive the highest quality products in a timely manner.

\n

• Process approval or rejection of materials through SAP ERP software.

\n

• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.

\n

• Assist in the investigation of quality issues.

\n

• Complete supervisor assigned responsibilities to ensure that departmental objectives are being met on time.

\n

• Participate with cross functional teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities as required.

\n

• Characterize, handle, label, manifest, or inspect hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations.

\n

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

\n

• Basic computer proficiency using Windows and various software packages including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and SAP

\n

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision

\n

• Basic understanding of industrial manufacturing processes is preferred

\n

• Ability to read and follow written procedures

\n

• Excellent time management skills

\n

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

\n

• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly, such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and gloves, part or most of the day.
