Job Description

Location: Onsite 3 days a wk; Hybrid – Office location is

Required Pay Scale: $60-68hr W2

***Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates***

Looking to recruit a versatile Lead Python & Oracle Developer to support. The successful candidate must have expertise in ETL & Oracle DB processes, strong commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD), databases, back-end web server development and proficiency in Git version control.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of data-warehouse/database/business intelligence applications.
• Ensures that software is developed to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Provides guidance and oversees the development of junior members of the development team.
• Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements.
• Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
• Understands and utilizes basic architecture components in solution development.
• Executes automated test suites (integration, regression, performance); collects results and flags issues.
• Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
• Adheres to team delivery/release process and cadence pertaining to code deployment and release.
• Be able to lead ETL/acquisition/distribution development initiatives involving multiple complex source and target systems.
• Conduct both proactive and reactive performance tuning activities during course of development of new applications and existing legacy applications.
