Description:

Currently seeking a full-time, fully remote IT Project Manager to aid in the procurement, planning, execution, and implementation of Epic at a recently acquired hospital under the client site. This position may also be used to backfill current projects as needed to allow in-house staff to devote time to the implementation.

• Extensive experience in healthcare IT and/or public sector project management.
• 5 or more years verifiable experience leading complex projects within healthcare domain.
• Proven track record in vendor management, collaboration with IT staff and clinicians.
• Knowledge of analysis methods to estimate project cost, resources, time and deliverables.
• Demonstrated experience in use of traditional project management tools and communication as well as detailed documentation of decisions and other key project artifacts.
• Demonstrated experience in managing project scope, timeline and budget.
• Ability to track project tasks to execution.
• Work with department managers to identify resources
• Ability to effectively facilitate meetings.
• Ability to focus stakeholders on critical issues and put other issues, with consensus into a futures/parking lot.

Certifications & Educational Requirements:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Logistics:

• Working in PST Time Zone (Must be willing to work EST hours Monday-Friday)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Estimated 6-Month Initial agreement; followed by extensions as needed depending on timeline
• Travel Requirements: Fully Remote, Preference given to candidates in San Francisco Bay Area
• Full-Time (40 Hours per Week)
