Job Summary:
The Project Manager serves as a professional role model, mentor, and resource for staff members of the IS Team. Completes project-management responsibilities, will lead staff members during project planning, implementation, and close out phases of the project. Responsible for assuring that all assigned stakeholders are represented in the design, implementation, and ongoing support of applicable information systems. Adheres to the hospital's technology planning approach along with established technical, quality, and lean standards. Experience with Meditech Client-Server software and/or Kronos HR/Payroll system is preferred.
Licensure and Certification:
* N/A
Education:
* Required: BA/BS in Computer Science or business-related field and/or clinical-related field
* Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science or business-related field and/or clinical-related field
* Equivalent experience may be substituted for education
Experience:
* Minimum three years in hospital systems analysis and installations with an understanding of the function of hospital, relationships among departments, and overall organization
* Extensive knowledge with the implementation and support of hospital systems
* Extensive experience with managing large projects including the directing the activities of other resources assigned to the project;
* Extensive Clinical or Financial system implementation knowledge and experience.
* Education of customers in system concepts and operation.
* Experience with Meditech Client Server and/or Kronos HR/Payroll Systems
Knowledge and Skills:
* Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm
* Able to troubleshoot, including areas involving no previous experience

* Frequent sitting and standing/walking with frequent position change.
* Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities in fine motor activities requiring fingering, grasping, and forward reaching between waist and chest level.
* Occasional/intermittent reaching at or above shoulder level.
* Occasional/intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, twisting, and climbing.
* Occasional/intermittent lifting and carrying objects/equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
* Continuous use of near vision, hearing and verbal communication skills in handling telephone calls, interacting with customers and co-workers and performing job duties.
