We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment where you will have a direct impact on our production processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that our products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, lean manufacturing, process improvement, quality control, and HACCP. Familiarity with SQF and FSMA PCQI is also required. If you are a proactive, results-driven professional with excellent leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate all production activities, ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently and safely.
2. Implement and monitor lean manufacturing practices to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
3. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
4. Ensure strict compliance with food safety and quality control standards, including HACCP, SQF, and FSMA PCQI.
5. Oversee the training and development of production staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
6. Monitor production output and quality, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance.
8. Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, waste, and downtime.
9. Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
10. Stay updated with latest manufacturing best practices and industry trends.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in food production.
3. Proven experience in production management, lean manufacturing, process improvement, and quality control.
4. In-depth knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and FSMA PCQI.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
9. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
11. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
12. Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related field would be an asset.
