Oliver Inc . is looking for an accurate Production Scheduler responsible for organizing the production of printing projects using the most efficient and economical methods available.

The position involves frequent interaction with design, customer service, sales, and production departments to interpret and ensure customer requirements are met. Working both independently and as part of a team, the successful candidate will have excellent mathematical skills and an analytical mindset. You will provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions.

About the Role :

In this opportunity as a Production Scheduler , you will:

• Familiarity with inventory control, planning and scheduling policies and procedures.
• Plan paper requirements based on chosen form of production, customer requirements and other performance considerations
• Provide planning solutions for any materials shortages, equipment downtime, or other constraints.
• Understanding of capacity planning, identifying and managing production constraints.
• Highly proficient in developing & improving Excel based tools as well as managing and analyzing to provide data driven decisions.
• Familiar with basic cost analysis and forecasting as it relates to scheduling and planning.
• Ongoing interaction with production, sales and customer service teams to determine and satisfy customer requirements and priorities.

About You :

You're a fit for the role of Production Scheduler, if your background includes:

• 2 years proven experience as scheduler or related position in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with financial and project management principles.
• Proficient math ability with an analytical mindset.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
• Advanced excel skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledgeable in Folding Carton / Printing, such as layout, spoilage, standards, finishing, etc.
• Able to work independently
• A degree in Business, Statistic, Industrial Engineering, Inventory Management or related discipline.
• Ability to calculate area, circumference, and volume and to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
