Job Summary
The Production Scheduler plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the production processes within our manufacturing facility. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong mechanical knowledge and experience in factory settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that assembly line operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while collaborating with various teams to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Production and Warehouse leaders to develop a master schedule to achieve delivery commitments.
  • Develop the capability to recognize and correct errors on work tickets.
  • Actively participate and contribute to efforts to improve processes in all areas of the company.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the manager.
  • Utilize ERP and other internal system capabilities for production planning of big picture and long-term decisions, such as analyzing forecasts and long-term orders, and setting target stock levels.
  • Research output information to make the production process more efficient.
  • Efficiently organize all Work Tickets to allow quick access and accurate scheduling.
  • Accurately respond to requests from the Sales department for updated ship dates.
  • Quickly and effectively adjust production schedule in response to interruptions.
  • Schedule usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Assist with monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble products using various tools.
  • Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and fabrication processes is essential.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in various aspects of operations, supply chain and manufacturing.
  • Associates degree in related fields of study.
