Job Summary:

Amron International, Inc. is interviewing for a part-time in-office Product Photographer and Editor to help us grow our online visual catalogue. We encourage anyone with a strong understanding of product photography, photoshop, graphic design, writing and editing skills and a strong work-ethic to apply. This position is not remote and will require you to come into the office daily.

Our customers include professional divers, special operations forces, state and federal security agencies, and outdoor enthusiasts to list a few. Our Marketing team is integral in helping us achieve a quick, easy, and informative online experience for our customers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Works with other creative team members to produce visual content for our website.
  • Delivers professional, high-quality imagery through product photography and non-destructive editing practices.
  • Creates web content including headers, banners, and branding that aligns with Amron’s visual identity.
  • Conducts analysis to assure visual information is accurate and complete by researching and assessing brands and product information.
  • Uploads images and any necessary attachments.
  • Audits and updates existing product page content and SEO.
  • Familiar with our content publishing guidelines.
  • Responsible for quality assurance of content.
  • Identifies areas of improvement and makes necessary recommendations.
  • Performs item image reviews on a brand-by-brand basis and provides recommendations for changes.
  • Documents processes and creates procedures as needed.

Qualifications and Required Skills/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Computer Science, or 3+ years of hands-on experience in product photography and Photoshop.

  • Proficient technical knowledge of DLSR camera, must be able to troubleshoot.
  • Advanced working knowledge of product photography, staging and lighting.
  • Must know how to handle the archive management of images, edits, branding, logos, etc.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of in non-destructive photo editing.
  • Proficient working with the following software programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, HTML, Premiere.
  • Experience with Magento platform architecture is a plus but not required .
  • Candidate must pay high attention to detail, be consistently organized, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.
  • Advanced writing, grammar, spelling, editing, and English skills required.
  • Candidate must be efficient and good with time management.
  • Must possess the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with limited direct supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, intermediate level Excel skills required.
  • Familiar with Content Management Systems.
  • Familiar with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System).

Physical Demands:

Employee is primarily seated while performing the duties of this position. Occasional walking, climbing stairs and standing is required. Requires extensive use of a computer keyboard and mouse. May occasionally be required to lift up to 30 lbs.

Work is conducted in a climate-controlled office/cubicle environment. Remote work may be optional for a limited duration based on the requirements of the position and the individual.
