Nuclear Energy We are searching for a Planner Scheduler, Sr – Nuclear on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2) This is for a Mechanical Maintenance Outage planner. Familiarity with NAMS, Welding Practices, and ASME Section XI is a must. Location: Homestead, FL. 33035 : Per diem is available. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2) Responsibilities The Planner will be assisting in the design of planned work and design change packages. Conducts field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventative maintenance, modification and surveillance activities. Defines procedures, drawings, equipment and materials required to perform planned work packages. Liaisons with engineering department and/or vendors to plan work activities. Knowledge of welding practices, ASME Section XI, ANI and ISI. Develops work standards to support work packages. Qualifications: A minimum of eight (8) years of planning experience in a nuclear facility, preferred; OR A minimum of three (3) years planning experience AND 10 years trade nuclear power experience in Engineering, Maintenance (Mechanical) or Operations. OR A minimum of eight (8) years of technical experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations. OR a minimum of six (6) years technical experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations AND a BS degree in Engineering or related physical science. Must be knowledgeable of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Nuclear Asset Management System (NAMS). EOE of Minorities / Females / Vets / Disability.
