WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Sports Medicine Physician to help develop and build our brand new Sports Medicine program at Franciscan Physician Network Hammond Clinic located in Munster, Indiana. This busy, established practice currently includes five physicians and an advanced practice provider with RN and MA support. This high performing group of providers is focused on providing patient-centric care, high quality metrics and working collaboratively with their team and surrounding resources.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on Sports Medicine, with clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families. Physician will need to work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Clinic Hours: Monday & Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Flexible full-time schedule with one evening shift per week
• Call rotation: 1:13
• Average Outpatient Volume: 18 - 20 patients per day
• Designated MA support
• Urgent Care, Physical Therapy, and Foot & Ankle Surgeons available onsite
• Telehealth offered
• Onsite Equipment:
  • Lab
  • X-ray
  • MRI
  • Ultrasound

Qualifications:

• Doctorate - Required
• Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required - and -
• Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required
