This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and respected team and play a pivotal role in shaping the environmental law landscape. The successful candidate will specialize in hazardous materials, brownfields, litigation, transactions, corporate, real estate, CWA, RCRA, and CERCLA. Responsibilities Provide expert advice and counsel on a range of environmental law issues, including hazardous materials, brownfields, litigation, transactions, corporate, real estate, CWA, RCRA, and CERCLA. Represent clients in administrative and judicial proceedings involving environmental matters. Conduct and oversee complex environmental due diligence in real estate and corporate transactions. Develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies to meet clients' business objectives and manage environmental risks. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and regulatory agencies. Contribute to the firm's thought leadership in environmental law through publications, presentations, and other professional activities. Mentor and develop junior attorneys in the practice of environmental law. Qualifications A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top accredited law school. Admission to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in environmental law, focusing on hazardous materials, brownfields, litigation, transactions, corporate, real estate, CWA, RCRA, and CERCLA. A proven track record of successfully representing clients in environmental matters. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. A commitment to professional development and staying current on developments in environmental law.
