At the level of EEG Technologist it is expected that the\nindividual be capable of self-direction with minimal supervision. The basic\nrudiments of EEG acquisition should be second nature. Artifact\ndetection/elimination skills should be adequate. The technologist should be\nable to describe EEG findings to junior faculty in a review style format. The\nEEG Technologist must be flexible enough to learn new protocols i.e. Adult and\nPediatric Telemetries, ICU continuous EEG, Outpatient, Portable Studies. Based\non departmental needs, the EEG Technologist (PT) may be required to float to\nother UCLA sites, must participate in the on-call schedule and be flexible and\navailable with the work schedule. Our ideal candidate will have completed an electroencephalography program.

Salary Range: $41.60 - $54.87 Hourly

Qualifications

• Completion of an\nelectroencephalography program or an equivalent combination of education,\nexperience, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of\nthe duties assigned to the position – strongly preferred
• ABRET Certification – preferred
• R. EEG T.\nCertification – preferred
• BCLS certificate\nfrom American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required
