Job Title: Nursing Assistant / Caregiver (Day Shift)

Location: Nagel Assisted Living - Waconia, MN and Elmore Assisted Living - Elmore, MN

Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift (6:00am -2:30pm) + Every Other Weekend

Pay: $18-$24/hour + Annual Bonus Potential + $1.00 Weekend Differential

Position Overview:

Are you a compassionate and dedicated CNA, HHA, or DSP looking to make a difference in long-term care? Sunflower Communities invites you to join our team at Nagel Assisted Living on the day shift. We seek caregivers committed to delivering the highest quality care, ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and valued.

Nursing Assistant / Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Resident Care: Provide exceptional care to our residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.
  
• Personal Assistance: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as ambulation, transfers, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  
• Environment Maintenance: Ensure our community remains a friendly, safe, and welcoming home for all residents.
  
• Observation and Reporting: Monitor residents' health and behavior, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team.
  
• Companionship: Offer emotional support and companionship, enhancing the residents' quality of life.
  

Nursing Assistant / Caregiver Qualifications:

• Passion for Care: Committed to high-quality care with a genuine passion for serving the geriatric population.
  
• Certification: Willingness to become Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) if not already certified.
  
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a team, showing a strong drive to grow and learn.
  
• Experience: Prior experience in long-term care or a similar setting is beneficial but not required.
  
• Skills: Excellent communication, observation, and organizational skills.
